Darien Library Offers Flu Clinic on September 30

DARIEN, CT— Darien Library, the Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, and Waveny Lifecare Network are hosting a flu clinic on Thursday, September 30 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The flu clinic is first-come, first-served, and open to anyone ages 4 years and older. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The flu vaccine is available at a cost of $55. A high-dose vaccine is available for those aged 65 and over at a cost of $75. Nurses will bill directly to Medicare Part B, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem or Empire), Connecticare, or Harvard Pilgrim. The shot is also payable by cash or check.

Please bring an insurance card, photo ID, wear a face mask, and wear short sleeves or sleeves that can be easily rolled up. You may fill out the consent form in advance.
