Learn the Art of Downsizing at Darien Library Tomorrow

Darien Library is thrilled to offer a program that helps break down the difficult process of downsizing.

When it’s time to downsize, these decisions can no longer be postponed. How do you make decisions when they are harder than ever and no one is around to help? What if you have something you don’t need, but it’s worth some money?

These are just some of the questions that Matt Baier’s team of professional organizers answers almost every day in people’s homes across Fairfield and Westchester counties. And they are questions that Matt will answer at “Downsizing Step-By-Step.” Learn about what order to do things, how to make decisions you can feel good about, and where it’s all going to go, in simple manageable steps.

This virtual event will take place on Wednesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. Register on Darien Library’s website at www.darienlibrary.org/event/5333.

About Matt Baier

Matt Baier is the owner of Matt Baier Organizing, LLC, which serves Fairfield county, CT and Westchester county, NY. Matt developed his interest in organizing at, of all places, the Jim Henson Company, home of the Muppets. His promotion from art director to department head arrived with half the staff, working in half the space, with 25% more work in demand. To succeed, Matt relied on a skill that came as naturally to him as breathing: organizing. As a result, his department increased production tenfold.

In 2004, with the sale of the Muppet property to the Walt Disney Company, Matt switched careers to Professional Organizer and started Matt Baier Organizing, LLC, which specializes in team clutter relief. With a team of organizers

Matt appears regularly on local television and is a national speaker. He is also the Immediate Past President of NAPO-CT, and author of the best selling organizing book, The Circulation Solution. He and his wife Susan live in Stamford, CT.
