Connecticut Art and History Meet in Two Special Darien Library Programs

Explore a historical art colony in two special programs with Darien Library.

In the first of this series, art historian Page Knox will delve into the history of Cos Cob Art Colony, the first impressionist art colony in Connecticut who gathered at the Bush-Holley House in Greenwich. Take a close look at stunning artwork by Theodore Robinson, John Henry Twachtman, J. Alden Weir, Childe Hassam, and other Connecticut-based artists of the nineteenth century.
