The Darien Chamber of Commerce will hold its Sidewalk Sales on July 14, 15 and 16 (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) from 10am-5pm. First County Bank is continuing as Title Sponsor of this annual Darien summer celebration. Rain or shine!
There will be something for everyone! Shoppers of all ages will find bargains under the tents and inside shops along the Post Road. Merchants have announced sales of up to 70% off! New this year, the Chamber is setting up an area for teenagers to sell their homemade goods and products. The youth entrepreneurial tent will be sponsored by and located next to Bankwell (in between Caffè Nero & Bankwell). “We are excited for the kids to interact with the community and experience selling and shopping locally, said Kesti Aysseh, Executive Director of the Darien Chamber. They will participate Saturday only, July 16, from 10-5pm.
Sponsored by Ring’s End there is entertainment for all ages: My Balloon Guy will be located at First County Bank, Amazing Andy will be stilt-walking the streets, a Face Painter will be located at Darien Toy Box on Friday and Saturday, 11am-2pm the hosts from Now We're Talking Darien will be “Live from the Street” at the Chamber table (Darien Toy Box).
