Bestselling Author Taylor Jenkins Reid to Headline Darien Library’s Seventh Annual Novel Tea Fundraiser

Darien Library is thrilled to present its Seventh Annual Novel Tea fundraiser featuring New York Times-bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid.

The luncheon will be held at Wee Burn Country Club on Wednesday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the discussion will be moderated by Darien’s own Page Berger, Marketing and Events Director at Barrett Bookstore.

“We are honored to welcome Taylor Jenkins Reid, who will join us to discuss her bestselling novels Malibu RisingDaisy Jones and the SixThe Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo; and her highly-anticipated new book, Carrie Soto Is Back, set to be released this month, said Elena Whidden, Development Chair for the Darien Library Board of Trustees. “This is an event not to be missed!”

The event will also include a silent auction with exclusive items. All funds raised from the Novel Tea will be dedicated to library resources, including new technology, purchasing new books and materials, and supporting all programs and guest speakers.

Sponsorship opportunities are currently available for purchase, and single tickets will be on sale in September, pending availability. All sponsors are invited to a private meet-and-greet reception with Taylor Jenkins Reid and will also receive a signed copy of Carrie Soto Is Back.
