An Evening at the Mather Tavern on Thursday, February 16

Ladies and Gentlemen!  Join us in the Homestead Barn, a.k.a., "The Mather Tavern," for a night of education and fun on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00pm

First, pour yourself a glass of good old fashioned ale, whiskey, mead or wine from our Tavern Bar and play some tavern games while listening to fiddle music. Then, sit down inside the "Mather Tavern," a.k.a., the barn, for a meal of traditional tavern food, prepared by "Fine & Dandy."

During dinner, you'll even learn a bit as the Connecticut Historical Society presents a brief lecture: "Tapping into the Past:  Tavern Life in Early Connecticut."   After dinner ... a bit of Tavern Trivia ... test you knowledge of American History, American spirits and ales, and more.
