Darien Library Presents Two Centuries of Frankenstein on June 10

“Two Centuries of Frankenstein”

From Boris Karloff to Robert De Niro, from James Whale to Mel Brooks, Mary Shelley’s sensational Frankenstein continues to enthrall, inspire, and disturb after more than 200 years. Join film historian Max Alvarez for a compelling audiovisual journey in which the youthful author, her iconic novel, and the resulting films, are dissected with as much precision and glee as the cadavers in Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory!

“Two Centuries of Frankenstein” will take place on June 10 at 7 p.m. on the Zoom platform. Register at Darien Library’s website at darienlibrary.org

This program is part of the Darien Library’s One Book One Community event around the book, Frankenstein.
