“Art is more than a word—it is a celebration of life," says Annette Voreyer. “Through my painting, I am able to engage in an emotional dialogue with my subject. My work reflects that personal experience and is conveyed to the viewer in an impressionistic  manner using energetic brush strokes and vivid colors.”

Raised in Cooperstown, NY and a resident of Greenwich, CT, Annette Voreyer received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and lived for many years in France, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

She has studied with several prominent artists including Jesus Emmanuel Villarreal, Christopher Gallego, Kirill Doron and Dean Fisher. She holds memberships from the Salmagundi Club, The National League of American Pen Women, the American Artists Professional League, The Art Students League of New York and the Greenwich Art Society.

Voreyer has won numerous awards including Best in Show – Paint/Acrylic at the 2015 Greenwich Art Society’s Annual Juried Exhibition. Her work has appeared in numerous gallery exhibitions throughout Fairfield County and New York City. In addition, her work can be found in private collections in Greenwich, New York City, San Diego, London and Canada.

She has also participated in workshops with Frank Bruckmann (Maine), Ephraim Rubenstein (Florence, Italy), Julian Merrow-Smith (Provence, France) and with Ben Fenske and Marc Dalessio (Boston).

Voreyer has resided in Greenwich, CT since 2002 with her husband Robert Voreyer and is the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Nicholas and Thomas.
