Darien Health Department Talks Tick- and Mosquito-borne Diseases on May 21

The Darien Health Department Presents: Fight the Bite: The Challenge of Tick- and Mosquito-borne Diseases in Connecticut at the Darien Library on Tuesday, May 21 from 7 pm -9 pm

Mosquito and Tick-borne Diseases are a major public health concern for Connecticut residents.  Learn from the scientists at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) who test ticks and mosquitoes just what the risks are and what actions you can take to prevent illness for you and your family, including pets! There will also be a presentation by a local infectious disease physician who diagnoses and treats tick-borne and mosquito-related diseases.
