Missing Foster Dog From Darien Located in Cheshire

Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue reported that Lambsy was brought in to a 24-hour vet clinic in Cheshire CT by her foster mom, Cheryl Baity, of Darien.

According to Abandoned Angels Rescue, Cheryl Baity took this dog home on a foster-to-adopt basis but lost her within 3 days. This dog’s adoption was never finalized, nor was her adoption fee ever paid. Lambsy remains owned by and microchipped to Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue.

"We have no information about how Cheryl Baity recovered Lambsy or where she has been for the past 12 days. That said, we have repeatedly informed Cheryl Baity that she must return the dog to us immediately in the event that Lambsy is found. Cheryl Baity has not been in touch with us. We have involved both Darien Animal Control and the Darien Police, who have been unable to locate her in Darien. They have communicated to Cheryl Baity that she must contact the Darien Police immediately and appear at the Police Station," they say.

Anyone having knowledge of the whereabouts of Lambsy or Cheryl Baity is asked to telephone us at 347-580-0488 or contact the Darien Police Department at 203-662-5300.

The rescue organization says that Darien Animal Control and the Darien Police have a medical report from the hospital in Cheshire who treated Lambsy. She came in heavily tick-infested but we understand was alert. "We are extremely worried about Lambsy and are taking legal action against Cheryl Baity for her failure to return the dog. After all the events of the last 12 days, we do not consider that this dog is safe. Please help us to recover Lambsy," says Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue.

Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue has provided this photo of Cheryl Baity and report she is driving a silver Mercedes SUV with CT plates.
