June is Dog Licensing Month!
All Darien dog owners must renew their dog's license in the Darien Town Clerk's office (room 101) before Friday, June 28 to avoid at $1.00 late fee per month.
Connecticut State Law requires all dogs 6 months of age or older to be licensed in the town of residency. Proof of current rabies vaccination and spaying or neutering, if applicable, must be provided at the time of the application.
Fees are as follows:
- A dog who is spayed or neutered $8.00
- Dogs who are not spayed or neutered $19.00
The license period is July 1st through June 30th.
