Three Blue Wave Divers competed in the Fairfield County Swimming League 2019 County Diving Championships. The three-day championship kicked off on Wednesday, July 24 at Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich. Athletes competed and scored points for their respective clubs.
Darien High School rising seniors Emma Hunter ('20) and Lana Schmidt ('20) competed in the 17 and under girls' competition and rising sophomore Matthew Magnotta ('22) competed in the 17 and under boys' competition. The trio placed in the top six.

In the 17 and Under Girls 3 Meter competition, Emma Hunter captured 6th place scoring 227.9 points.
In the 17 and Under Boys 3 Meter competition, Matthew Magnotta captured 2nd place scoring 270.65 points.
In the 17 and Under Boys 1 Meter competition, Matthew Magnotta captured 3rd place scoring 302.95 points.
In the 17 and Under Girls 3 Meter competition, Lana Schmidt captured 5th place scoring 231.25 points.
