Gaylord Specialty Healthcare announces the appointment of Darien resident Paige Panda as chief development officer and senior advisor to the president.
Panda has more than 20 years of experience in development primarily at medical centers and universities. During her tenure at each institution, she has worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize, plan and execute strategies to raise important philanthropic funding.
She approaches philanthropy as a deeply personal decision with power to bring transformative, impactful change to historic institutions. An experienced fundraiser with campaign planning, board engagement and major gift experience, she brings vast development knowledge to projects, engaging everyone she works with through a high degree of professionalism. Panda has helped organizations coach board members and volunteers on their role in fundraising and she has led staff presentations on donor solicitations and purposeful stewardship and cultivation.
In 2019, she served as on-site philanthropic counsel at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare. Later, as an advisor to the president, she closed several historic gifts including one that launched the Milne Institute for Healthcare Innovation dedicated to delivering superior patient outcomes. She serves as chief development officer leading the Think Possible campaign, implements high-level strategy for presidential relationships and strategic initiatives and manages Gaylord’s campaign and development teams.
