A full-time Knowledge and Learning Services Librarian is a lifelong learner with a passion for information access, instruction, and knowledge management. Highly collaborative and innovative, they are a community-minded professional who embodies hospitality and empathy in all interactions.
Reporting to the Head of Knowledge and Learning Services, Knowledge and Learning Services staff work together to provide the patrons of Darien Library with accurate, reliable information about a wide range of topics with consideration to the Library’s overall goals of equity and inclusion. They curate our print and digital reference resources to meet the interests of the community, respond to current events and trends, and predict future interests. They assist users with technology, help maintain the adult non-fiction collection, and staff busy service desks.
