Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
After joining the Darien Chamber of Commerce, the shop has partnered with various local business for tastings and events. To name a few: Darien Cheese, The Bar Method, Club Pilates, Equinox, AFA Homes w/ Real Estate agent Janine Vairo.
We have also hosted various Mom’s Night Out and partners with some of the local parents' programs as well giving to the local charities throughout town.
The monthly wine club is a great introduction to the shop. It offers a variety of opportunities to get in involved with our approach. Here is how it works:
Join Sipstirs monthly wine club and receive 15% off an entire month of selections.
There are multiple memberships and the opportunity to receive all 8 wines.
There are two ways (and both make great gifts!)
The Club ($60 – Most Popular)
Receive three (3) bottles of wine delivered to your door or picked up monthly accompanied by tasting notes and of course exclusive offers. Additionally, there are discounts off special limited releases. It is your choice of a medley (most common), all reds, all whites or have it all.
TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL ($100)
Receive two (2) bottles of limited production wines, sometimes to drink now and/or to the cellar. Inquire to join the community and see what your neighbors are raving about!
