Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Fletcher Development!
Three questions with Ryan Fletcher, owner of Fletcher Development.
Ryan Fletcher was a Sergeant in the Infantry Division of United States Marine Corps and holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Roger Williams University.
Why did you start your business?
I started my business because I realized early that if I wanted to create my own schedule and have the flexibility I needed- it had to be on my own terms, it was a risk I was willing to take on. Fletcher Development features custom homes, commercial properties, as well as service and maintenance. Fletcher Development has been recognized for multiple HOBI Awards in the last four years.
Our best selling product is Smart Home Technology.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services)?
We rely on Rings End, D&D Homes, and many more! We also employ local youths as interns during the summer months.
Fletcher Development is located at 320 Post Road in Darien. Learn more about Fletcher Development online here.
