"It is moving forward that offers a respite, even if brief, and allows us to release stress and re-energize. Walking, running, and hiking allow us to see what is still so wonderful about our world, and get our hearts pumping in a positive way," says Megan Searfoss the owner of newly opened Darien Running Company.
This week, Thursday through Sunday Darien Running Company (DRC) celebrates their grand opening, an event that coincides with Darien Sale Days. The award-winning store, with a sister location in Ridgefield, has been open at 14 Brook Street for twenty days (they even got a write-up in the New York Times. Searfoss says, "We had hoped to have a few community runs and events this week but have scaled back the celebration to ensure the safety of participants and allow the tree trucks to do their thing."
From Thursday through Sunday, DRC will be giving customers the choice of a FREE Saucony Tech Tee or a logo’d neck gaiter with shoe purchase. Appointments can be made by visiting Darien Running Company’s website or you can walk-in and if we are available, we can fit you!
