Four questions with Michael Giunta, founder of Evolution Physical Therapy.
Why did you start your business?
I started Evolution Physical Therapy to change the perception of Physical Therapy. I believe that there are many people out there who do not understand what true orthopedic Physical Therapists can do for their health and wellbeing. We believe that injury prevention, performance, recovery, and wellness are all a large part of the typical perception of rehabilitation of injuries only. We strive to improve function before an injury occurs.
What is your best-selling product/service?
One on one Physical Therapy!
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Community is our number one asset. We are connected to many location organizations and we connect with them regularly. These businesses include those in the Darien Chamber of Commerce, most notably Lumber, Sweat Central, and Clean Juice. We also have partnerships with Bobby Valentines Sports Academy and Darien High School where we provide sports medicine services to their athletes.
Have you reimagined your small business?
We have reimagined the profession of physical therapy by holding many services under one roof. We not only provide rehabilitation services but also have a fully functioning fitness center full of group training classes and personal training geared towards injury prevention and keeping people healthy. Most of our services are eligible for insurance reimbursement.
