Town of Darien Special Meeting includes Public Hearing regarding Great Island

Great Island Public Information Session
Thursday, June 9, 2022
7:00pm – Town Hall Auditorium

The Darien Board of Selectmen will host an information session on the proposed purchase of Great Island this Thursday, June 9.

The presentation will include a virtual tour of the property, and the possibilities for future use. Local leaders will discuss the purchase and approval process. We encourage residents to attend the meeting.

Public comments on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity may be shared at the meeting or sent via email to boardofselectmen@darienct.gov.*

Numerous considerations have been studied and compiled into an informational presentation that will be held in the auditorium of Town Hall at 7:00 PM.

After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to offer comments.
