The Darien Police Department is currently investigating an incident in which numerous gunshots were fired from a moving motor vehicle, possibly at another vehicle, on West Avenue shortly before 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2020. According to Police, no injuries have been reported.
Police say that a significant portion of West Avenue between Leroy Ave. & Noroton Ave. was closed following the incident as investigators process the crime scene. They report that there is no threat to area residents.
