Yesterday was Darien Police Telecommunications Dispatcher Marcela Alzate’s last shift before she leaves to join the Military. Dispatcher Alzate recently received Active Duty Orders for deployment overseas with the Army National Guard’s 142nd Area Support Medical Company, the “Rebel Medics.”
Darien Police captured a celebration they had for Alzete on their Facebook Page.
"We wish her luck, safety, and would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for her continued service to our Nation. “We look forward to having you back safe and sound in a year Marcela!” Darien Police said.
