The Darien Police Department is pleased to announce the addition of our newest member!
Officer Zachary Chantlos was sworn in this morning by Darien Police Commission Chairman Kim Huffard and he was presented with his badge by Chief Don Anderson.
Officer Chantlos has worked as a police officer for the past four years at the Manchester, CT Police Department and he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University. Ofc. Chantlos also is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and is stationed at the Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, MA where he serves as a financial technician and Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor .
