ECAP Backpack and School Supply Giveaway

The Eastchester Rotary Club donated over 140 backpacks filled with school supplies to the Eastchester Community Action Partnership (ECAP) to be distributed to the children in the communities of Bronxville Eastchester and Tuckahoe.

The bags will be distributed on Thursday August 28, 2014 at 3pm at the ECAP headquarters at 142-144 Main Street in Tuckahoe, NY . We would love as much press and participation as possible so please share with anyone you know who may have the need. 

ECAP is part of the Westchester Community Opportunity Program, a private nonprofit business that provides job-skills training and after-school youth activities and distributes food to low-income families.

ECAP offers services like immigrant, consumer and tenant rights, parenting classes, health and nutrition, financial planning and Spanish-translation services.

The organizations also has a daily variety of ready to eat meals provided by our partnership with local business like The Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, Stop & Shop, Fresh Market and The Yard House, along with a have bi-monthly food distribution for all of ECAP's registered clients.
