Seeking Owner to Black Male Terrier Found in Broad Brook

A male Terrier was recently discovered in the area of Chamberlain and Apothecaries Hall roads, according to the East Windsor Police Department. Animal Control Officer James Hendsey found the black dog with white spots on his stomach this morning, police said. It was wearing a black collar.

Local residents report having seen the dog repeatedly in the area in the past week. One resident found the dog roaming on Rye Street last Saturday. The dog was skittish and ran away in previous attempts to help it.

The East Windsor Animal Shelter is helping the dog stay warm and regain weight. Police report the dog is thin and probably had not eaten in some time.

If anyone recognizes the pup, please contact EWPD at 860-292-8240 or email Hendsey at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
