Mark Albertson Lecture on WWI @ Fairfield Library, Oct. 16

Two fascinating lectures are scheduled at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road, on World War I: Causes and Consequences. The first lecture will be on Thursday, October 16: Pandora’s Box—Causes of the First World War, and the second lecture will be on Thursday, October 23: The Treaty of Versailles. The lectures will begin at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room.

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of WWI, Mark Albertson will speak about factors contributing to the beginning and ending of WWI. Albertson is the historical research editor at “Army Aviation” magazine in Monroe and is a long-time member of the United States Naval Institute. He is both an author and professor of history at the Norwalk Community College for the Lifetime Learns Institute.
