FLHS Hires Jodi Kostbar as New Webster Housemaster

Fairfield, CT -- Greg C. Hatzis, Headmaster at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, has announced that the school has just hired Jodi Kostbar as the new Housemaster in Webster House. Jodi replaces Joanna Giddings, who resigned her position effective the end of June. Jodi began her position at FLHS on July 6.  

Jodi served as an Assistant Principal at the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City for the past five years. She began her teaching career at Metropolitan Corporate Academy in Brooklyn, teaching English, Global History and Art and continued her career at the Professional Performing Arts School, also teaching English and Global History, until she was promoted in 2010. 

Jodi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and English Literature from the University of Colorado as well as a Master of Arts degree in English Education (7-12) from New York University. She received her certification in School Leadership from the College of New Rochelle. 

Jodi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience related to instruction and assessment, school climate, professional development & training and the coordination of the special education and ELL departments.
