Southport, CT – Pequot Library’s Annual Summer Book Sale brings thousands of people to Fairfield, CT for five days of book-loving paradise, July 24 – 28, 2015. During the busiest days of the 55th Annual Summer Book Sale, four local food trucks will help feed the masses of bibliophiles and treasure-seekers.
On Friday, July 24, Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, Bodega Taco Truck (modern Mexican food with an urban beach vibe) will be parked on Pequot Library’s Great Lawn from 11:30am – 2:30pm. For dessert, Paula’s Ice Cream Truck (it’s not just ice cream) will be there Friday and Saturday, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
Shake Shack will pass out free custard on Saturday, July 25, from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. On Sunday, July 26, Phil & Tom Ice Cream Truck (The Good Humor Men of Westport) will be on the Great Lawn from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Food vendors will donate a portion of their profits back to Pequot Library.
Pequot Library’s 55th Annual Summer Book Sale offers over 120,000 books, plus about 10,000 CDs, many DVDs, records, and more. Unique “Specials” will also be for sale. All proceeds from the sale help support library services and 500 yearly events and programs for all ages at Pequot Library. Pequot Library’s Summer Book Sale hours and pricing for the five-day sale are: Friday, July 24, 9:00am to 7:00pm, prices are double the marked price; Saturday, July 25, 9:00am to 6:00pm, all items priced as marked; Sunday, July 26, 9:00am to 6:00pm priced as marked; Monday, July 27, 9:00am to 6:00pm, half the marked price; Tuesday, July 28, 9:00am to 2:00pm, $5 per bag day!
