BRIDGEPORT, CT - St. Vincent's Women at Heart will host the free Amadeo Family Cardiology Screening Day on Friday, October 23, from 2-7pm.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women and can strike earlier than you think. Learn how to make heart health a priority in your 30s, 40s and 50s. From 2-3:00 pm, Dr. Anja Wagner, cardiologist, will present "Women and Heart Disease." From 3:00 - 7:00 pm, assessments begin, including cholesterol, blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, BMI, nutrition assessment and 10-year predictive cardiac risk limited to the first 50 participants.
