Ray Neuberger Announces Candidacy for CT State House

Fairfield, Conn – Ray Neuberger, a member of the Representative Town Meeting (RTM), has announced his candidacy for State Representative in the 133rd district.

Neuberger is currently serving his second term on Fairfield’s RTM in district six. He is chairman of the RTM’s Public Works & Planning sub-committee, and also serves as secretary of the Special Legislative Management Committee. Throughout his tenure on the RTM, Neuberger has been committed to seeking out best practices in order to consolidate costs and make government run with greater efficiency while providing top flight services to all residents. Neuberger is also known for his strong constituent outreach.

Neuberger is running for State Representative to bring an independent voice to Hartford.  He believes the skills he has developed as an elected citizen volunteer and businessman in the private sector make him well suited to represent the 133rd district in Hartford.

“As a professional who works in the finance industry, and as a member of the RTM, I have a great understanding how budgets are built, and I am committed to restoring fiscal responsibility to Hartford,” said Neuberger. “We need common sense legislators in Hartford who are willing to be a voice for the needs and interests of the residents of Fairfield, and to put partisan politics and policies aside for the greater good of our community and state.”

In 2015, Neuberger was the recipient of the Paul Tymniak Young Republican Award in which he was lauded for his work for community service, and commitment to bringing young people involved in the political process. Additionally, he’s also served as campaign coordinator for State Representative Brenda Kupchick’s re-election committee.

Neuberger is a graduate of Fairfield College Preparatory School and Fairfield University. Professionally, Neuberger is a broker of refined products for First National Oil Brokers.
