Westport, CT -- The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts will launch its 43rd Summer Season with “Desert Highway – A Tribute to the Eagles” on Sunday, June 26th at 7PM. Opening night is presented free-of-charge and is sponsored by People’s United Bank. Because Opening Night of the Levitt Pavilion’s Summer Season is traditionally a highly anticipated event, free tickets will be distributed in advance (more details below).
From "Hotel California" to "Take It Easy", Desert Highway delivers a non-stop journey through the Eagles’ greatest hits – including “Life In The Fast Lane”, “Peaceful Easy Feeling”, “Heartache Tonight”, and “Desperado”. In addition, the solo works of Eagles members, such as Don Henley and Joe Walsh, are added to the rich Eagles repertoire throughout the evening.
Desert Highway is a passionate group of talented professionals who are studio and concert tour veterans with major recording artists. They perform the inspired vocal harmonies and intricate guitar styles made famous by the legendary group – and perform live without any prerecorded instruments or vocals added. For Opening Night the 6-piece band will be augmented with the 3-piece “Desert Horns” - adding an extra layer of live musical magic to the evening.
Free tickets will become available to the public at noon on Thursday, June 16 – they will be available ONLINE at www.levittpavilion.com. No tickets will be distributed at the Levitt Pavilion (located at 40 Jesup Road in Westport). For more information and to claim free tickets, please visit www.levittpavilion.com.
