Stamford's Bark in the Park: Sept. 11

Stamford, CT - Stamford Downtown has two terrific events coming up in September on Bedford Street.  Don’t miss Bark in the Park THIS SUNDAY, September 11 and Arts & Crafts on Bedford on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18.

Bark in the Park presented by Blue Buffalo is a special day for our four-legged Friends. All friendly, well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome. Enjoy lots of activities to keep families and their pets entertained including: K9 demonstrations, vendor booths, agility course sponsored by Bandilane Canine Center, fun contests sponsored by High Ridge Animal Hospital, adoption area, microchip clinic sponsored by OPIN, photo booth sponsored by Bulls Head Pet Hospital, splash zone sponsored by Choice Pet, and much more! Bark in the Park will be held on Sunday, September 11 from 11am – 3pm in Latham Park on Bedford Street.

Arts & Crafts on Bedford brings over 100 juried artisans from throughout the Northeast who will display and sell juried works including Ceramics, Fine Art, Photography, Natural and Organic Body Products, Original Oil Paintings and Watercolors, Candles, Beewax Goods, Metal Sculpture, Fiber Arts, Wearable Art, Home Decor and more. Festival hours are Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Don’t miss the Imagination Station with “hands on” activities for kids including farm animals from the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, self-guided paintings with Pinot’s Palette, Chalk the Walk, Face Painting and Drawing with Kids Draw Free.

Admission is free to both events! Directions: From Route 95 take Exit 8.
