Southport Halloween Pet & People Parade, Oct. 29

Southport, CT – Pequot Library and the Southport Vet Center will again co-sponsor the Costumed People/Pet Parade & Halloween Fun! on Saturday, October 29, from 2pm - 3:15pm. Free and open to everyone!

March behind the Southport Volunteer fire truck in the town-wide Costumed People/Pet Parade from the Five Corners in downtown Southport Village Pequot Library’s Great Lawn. Sparky the Dalmatian will be on hand to greet kids. Both kids and pets can dress up and pets are not necessary to participate.

The Parade kicks off at 2:00pm sharp with the finale back at Pequot Library where kids enjoy classic Halloween games on the Library Lawn. There will be entertainment by "Music for Children's" Mary Ann Hall and Friends and the public can get their pictures taken with their pets.

There will be prizes for the best pet and people costumes and all pets receive treats. No registration required. Free and open to the public. For more information contact: (203) 259-0346 ext. 16.
