Each of the restaurants participating in this year’s event will be offering special prix fixe or other discounted lunch and dinner menus showcasing their finest culinary offerings.
For the second straight year, Fairfield Magazine and its publisher TownVibe will officially kick off Fairfield Restaurant Week with the food lover’s party of the year—Taste of Fairfield—on Sunday, October 8, 2017. The event will be held from 1-4pm at Southport’s Delamar Hotel, with proceeds to benefit Operation Hope. Foodies, families, and other fun-loving folk can enjoy tastes and sips from more than two dozen restaurants and specialty markets from the Fairfield area while enjoying live music from local favorite Otis & The Hurricanes and other entertainment.
First Selectman Mike Tetreau said, “Fairfield is pleased to hold this special week-long event, now in its sixth year, to celebrate Fairfield’s many quality restaurants. Restaurant Week gives the public an opportunity to frequent local favorites or sample new ones. This week-long event is another way the Town can show its support for our local businesses, help our local economy, and provide people with an enjoyable experience. We encourage residents and visitors alike to join us in this special town event!”
