You can pay online with a credit card at www.bit.ly/compost_bin or send a check made out to “Town of Fairfield” to Solid Waste and Recycling/SFTF, 725 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. The “Algreen Soil Saver Classic Compost Bin,” which will be delivered free to your home, lets you produce rich organic compost humus in a matter of weeks from food scraps, and kitchen and garden waste.
