Fairfield, CT - Many folks across the nation have been inspired to sew face masks at home, for their families, as a business and for first responders. A young lady in the Fairfield Beach Area has joined those ranks.
Ella Knight, 12, began making washable cloth masks at home and giving them to anyone in need. She has already made over 70, according to a family friend. And now a healthcare worker has just put in an order, to outfit and help protect her underprivileged clients.
Neighbor Patricia Sullivan said, "She loves to sew and has not asked for anything in return. I am starting a little pay-it-back for her and asking for a small treat for her from some of our neighbors to let her know how much we appreciate her generosity and kindness."
Way to go, Ella!
