Fairfield, CT – In recognition for achieving the Girl Scout Gold Award, Sage Garver of Fairfield was recently celebrated by The Connecticut Audubon Society with the unveiling of a new outdoor bench in her honor at the CAS Center at Fairfield.
Sage’s accomplishment was also recognized by Fairfield’s First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick who joined the event to proclaim Saturday, September 17, 2022 as Sage Garver Day in Fairfield.
Sage attained the Gold Award with her project to create a virtual tour of Connecticut Audubon’s Roy and Margot Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary. Highlighting the diversity of wildlife and natural features along the Sanctuary’s trails, the tour can be viewed online, or on the CT Audubon app (free to download from the Apple Store).
