Three questions with Laura Pensiero, founder of Pensiero Healing Arts.
Why did you start your business?
Eight years ago, I was pursuing a career in acting. As I drudged through the aspiring actor grind of auditions, agent meetings, headshots, and competition, I was introduced to Reiki and Breathwork. This led me on a path of becoming a certified Reiki Master, Breathwork facilitator, Institute for Integrative Nutrition health coach, and NGH Hypnotist.
As a high performer who has struggled with stress management, anxiety, and addictive behaviors, I understand how important it is to transform this energy for passion and authentic expression to thrive. My professional mission is to give my clients the tools needed to lead a fuller, more empowered, and more creative life.
What is your best-selling product/service?
My best-selling service is my Sacred Manifestation session. Sacred Manifestation takes a deep dive into the imagination through hypnosis, breathwork, and Reiki to fully embody one’s vision and desires. This session has done wonders for my clients who are on the precipice of a major shift or change, need clarity in a certain area of their life, and need help bringing their dreams to fruition. I send a personalized recording after the session for daily practice and continued reinforcement. The results have been transformative. I have witnessed clients make positive life changes including changing professions, accelerated success in their current profession, getting sober, and achieving more fulfillment and joy in their lives.
In the early days of the pandemic, I was living in NYC and practicing locally. I had a private practice and also worked at several acting studios, healing centers, and yoga studios. As a result of the pandemic closures, I moved my business online. This transition to the virtual space allowed my business to truly thrive. I reconnected with clients who moved out of NYC and grew my business beyond my locality. In the spring of 2022, I moved to Fairfield and had a baby soon after.
I continue to work with clients globally. I am looking forward to bringing this transformative work to the local Fairfield community.
