Fairfield University Annual Tree Lighting: Dec. 5, 6:15pm

Fairfield, CT - As the most wonderful time of the year descends upon the community, Fairfield University will add to the merriment with its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, set for Tuesday, December 5 at 6:15 p.m. outside the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola. The event is free and open to the public.

The University will welcome the greater Fairfield community with hot chocolate and cookies as well as Bubble & Brew teas to warm spirits. The University's singing groups -- The Bensonians and Sweet Harmony -- will perform songs of the season. Fairfield U. mascot Lucas and Santa will join the fun for pictures, and there will be a Fairfield Holiday Pop-Up Shop with gift essentials like ornaments and official “Wreathing of the Stag Statue.”
