WFM's Holiday Artists' Market: Sat., Dec. 9

Westport, Conn. — The Westport Farmers’ Market will hold a special holiday Artist Market 10am-2pm on Saturday, December 9 at Gilbertie’s Herbs & Garden Center (7 Sylvan Lane, Westport). The Market will showcase an extensive array of area makers -- over 35 vendors in all.

“Local artisans are outside of our mission, but we believe the local art community is essential to the foundation of a strong community, so we host this artists’ market to help support them – and spread some holiday cheer," says WFM Exec Director Lori Cochran-Dougall. “Westport has a history of immense artistic talent and we like to celebrate it. With the success of our past Holiday Artists’ Markets, the demand was heard loud and clear so we brought this fun event back to the community.”

The Artist Market will take place in three open-air greenhouses at Gilbertie’s and feature a wide array of one-of-a-kind handcrafted gift ideas. Carolers will entertain the crowds, Bubble & Brew will fill your cups and your tree trimming needs can easily be taken care of at Gilberitie’s.

Make Saturday, December 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gilbertie’s your destination for one-stop holiday shopping while supporting your local community of artists and friends.
