Fairfield University to Host Ed Tech Forum for Educators

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield University’s School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) will host an Educational Technology Forum for educators on Friday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Dolan School of Business Event Hall

The SEHD is inviting K-12 educators to participate in this forum, and share strategies for successfully using technology to improve student learning. 

Registration is requested by October 14. The SEHD will be in contact with educators who indicate that they are interested in participating. Participants will receive a special designation for professional development delivery on their certificate of participation. 

Are you eager to learn how other educators are successfully using technology in the classroom? Are you interested in the latest ed tech trends educators need to know? By attending this educational technology forum, educators will gain a certificate for attending, gain valuable insights from expert faculty and staff, and the opportunity to network and connect with fellow educators. This event will foster a collaborative environment that promotes shared learning and innovative practices.

Attendees will gain access to:

  • Presentations from educators and Fairfield University faculty, staff, and students about strategies and skills educators can use tomorrow in the classroom including AI, Open Educational Resources, and more.
  • Networking and idea sharing with peers and educational technology professionals from around the state. 
  • Information about how to become an ISTE Certified Educator at Fairfield University.
  • A certificate for attending.
