The Taco Project Marks 10 Years with Free Tacos & Taco Contest

Stamford, CT (+Tarrytown/Yonkers/Pleasantville/Bronxville, NY): Holy guacamole! The Taco Project, the popular Mexican-inspired restaurant and eight-time “Best of Westchester” winner, will give one lucky taco lover free tacos – for an entire year. It’s part of the restaurant’s month-long celebration of its tenth anniversary serving up delicious tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, churros, margaritas, and more. 

For a chance to win the year-long supply of tacos, taco lovers just need to show up at any of The Taco Project’s locations on Saturday, October 19th (doors open at 11 AM at all locations). The Taco Project has restaurants in Tarrytown, Yonkers, Pleasantville, Bronxville, and Stamford. 

CONTEST DETAILS: 

  • The first person in line will win a free taco bar party with ten friends (a $250 value). 
  • The first 50 people in line at each location will receive one free order of tacos and a drink, a chance to win prizes, including the grand prize of free tacos for a year (1 order weekly).  
  • Other prizes include tickets to the New York Knicks and New York Islanders games and Knicks/Islanders merch.  
  • Plus, there will be gift card giveaways from local favorites like Sebastian’s Barbershop, Playa Bowls, Crumbl Cookies, Sephora, and Starbucks.

How to Enter:

Entering is easy! On Saturday, October 19th, taco fans can enter the contest by going to any of The Taco Project’s locations:

  • Stamford: 1111 High Ridge Rd., Stamford, CT
  • Yonkers: 1086 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY    
  • Tarrytown: 18 Main St., Tarrytown, NY
  • Bronxville: 65 Pondfield Rd, Bronxville, NY
  • Pleasantville: 465 Bedford Rd., Pleasantville, NY

The winner of free tacos for a year must be able to pick up tacos at one of The Taco Project’s locations. No purchase is necessary to enter. The grand prize winner will be chosen at random and will receive free tacos for an entire year, redeemable at any Taco Project location. 

“We love our customers, and we wanted to celebrate ten years of The Taco Project in a fun and delicious way,” said Nick Mesce, one of three co-owners of The Taco Project, along with Sebastian Aliberti and Carmelo Milio, “This is our way of saying thanks to all the taco fans who have supported us over the past ten years. If you haven’t experienced The Taco Project yet, now’s a great opportunity to stop by, sample some tacos, and possibly win some prizes.”
