Robin Phillips Tapped as New Editor of Fairfield Magazine

Robin Phillips has been named editor of Fairfield Magazine. "I can think of no one more qualified for the position," says editor-in-chief and publisher Geoffrey Morris. "Robin is connected to the community. She is smart, has great ideas, and a wonderful sense of humor." The appointment begins with the March/April 2013 issue.

Phillips has a strong and varied magazine and publishing background—working on both national titles and local outlets. Most recently she was co-editor of fairfieldmoms.com and prior to that worked in New York City with Conde Nast Publications, on such titles as House & Garden, Conde Nast Traveler and Bon Appetit, and at Meredith, with Ladies Home Journal and Country Homes. She has also worked as a public relations and communications consultant. In addition, Phillips has been a strong community leader, helping to organize events for the Pequot Library, Connecticut Audubon, the DAR, and Greens Farm Academy. She is a graduate of Smith College and lives in Fairfield.
