Rocco & Associates Wealth Management ( www.roccoandassociates.com ), a Fairfield-based wealth manager (formerly Lincoln & Rocco) that was founded to assist individuals and families across all aspects of their financial lives, is proud to announce a rebranding of the firm that will include two new family hires to help further increase the personal attention given to each of its clients, as well as to attract new. Although in process for nearly six months, Rocco & Associates Wealth Management will be formally kicking off its re-launch with an evening cocktail reception. Both existing as well as new clients are welcome.
Building on a 25-year career, Joseph W. Rocco (founder) has served the needs of his clients by offering a broad array of financial advice and guidance including retirement plans, insurance, mutual funds and individual securities. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, Joe immediately began his military service as a second lieutenant. While stationed at Kalispell AFB in Lakeside Montana, he developed his passion for the financial services industry by helping his colleagues manage their financial strategies and has never looked back since.
Earlier this year, Charlie W. Rocco (Joe's son) joined the firm after recently graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Since returning home, Charlie has completed his NASD Series 7 and 66 licenses. He will be entering into a program through Fordham Law next fall where he will study to obtain his JD as well as an MBA from this top-ranked institution. Since arriving, Charlie has helped catapult the firm into the world of social media, redesigned the company's website, as well as refined in-house processes resulting in better firm efficiencies.
Eric C. Johnson (Joe's son-in-law), recently joined the firm in January. Eric is also the owner of Westport Outfitters located in the Saugatuck section of Westport. Before embarking on his first entrepreneurial challenge, Eric was an Assistant Vice President-Product/Marketing Manager for over 8 years with American Skandia (Prudential Financial) and Citigroup Asset Management and earned an MBA from Sacred Heart University in 2007. He resides in Fairfield with his wife Debbie and their two children EJ and Ruthie. "I believe Eric's industry as well as non-industry experience will prove to be a natural fit as we continue to grow the firm," says Rocco.
"I am really excited about these changes and the additions of family members to the team to strengthen and continue to grow a business I have long been committed to. To help kick off the new re-launch of Rocco & Associates, the firm will be hosting a cocktail reception on February 27, from 5:30-7:30. There will also be investment partners in attendance to share ideas and/or interface with current clients. There will be no formal presentations; this is an event to celebrate the firm's future and not a sales presentation.
