Scott Wilderman, Executive Director of Career Resources of Bridgeport, will discuss the importance of ReEntry Works at a meeting to be held Tuesday, June 25, from 10am to 11:30am, at Career Resource's offices, 350 Fairfield Avenue.
Career Resources is a well-established non-profit workforce development organization that has achieved national recognition for preparing youth and adults in Southwestern Connecticut to gain employment and progress in their careers. The group provides candidates with skills, resources, and support necessary for personal development, economic self-sufficiency, and career advancement, and also provides planning and staffing resources to the business community in support of workforce development. Career Resources, Inc. has a programs serving ex-offenders with a few criteria:
- Generally they must be within 6 months of release
- They should be non-violent offenders, except if they took part in a pre-release program or a direct referral from the CT DOC Benefits
