I.M. Smitten Sponsors 2nd CHAIR-ity Event, a Fundraiser to Support New Reach

Trumbull, CT – On Thursday November 2nd at 6 PM, I.M. Smitten will sponsor the Connecticut Chapter of the Interior Design Society’s (IDS) second CHAIR-ity event, a fundraiser to support the NEW REACH organization, a nonprofit headquartered in New Haven with offices in Bridgeport and Norwalk. IDS hopes to raise enough money to build a community room for New Reach’s life haven shelter.

To help raise funds, this year’s event will feature over a dozen local interior designers and artists who have repurposed chairs with their custom designs for the silent auction. The evening will include a 50/50 raffle, live music by Rick Reyes, appetizers and refreshments. The Master of Ceremonies will be Jim Masters, an award-winning Television and Radio Personality.  Last years’ CHAIR-ity event was sponsored by the University of Bridgeport and funds raised supported the Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport.
