Save the Children's Fairfield Leadership Council Luncheon: March 23

Save the Children's Fairfield Leadership Council is hosting their 2nd annual Spring Luncheon, highlighting their Return to Learning Fund.

The luncheon will include an important discussion about Save the Children's work to get displaced children around the world back in school.

Today, the world is witnessing the highest levels of human displacement on record. Whether by natural disasters, war or other forms of violence, 66 million people around the world have been forced from their homes. Half of them are children.

The United Nations estimates that only 50% of refugee children have access to primary education. With the average displacement lasting 17 years, an entire generation is losing out on their childhood and the ability to reach their full potential.

Refugee children have the potential to become doctors, teachers, architects, engineers and more. But they can't do it alone. Through our Return to Learning Fund, Save the Children is dedicated to get children back to a learning environment within 30 days of displacement.

Join us to learn how you can help us achieve this bold ambition, transforming the lives of vulnerable girls and boys and the future we all share.
