Fairfield, CT - Jeremy Eller, a close friend of Fairfield, CT resident Madeleine Walker and fellow Kennedy-Lugar YES Abroad scholar, was struck by a car while studying abroad in Morocco and passed away on November 6, 2019.
Jeremy was a perfect example of what the scholarship intended to do: create long-lasting bonds and genuine relationships with people abroad, while completely immersing oneself in the culture. A new scholarship was created to honor his memory, the Jeremy Eller Memorial Fund, with the goal of funding other students' study abroad in the future.
