46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT (behind St Rose Lima RC Church)
Sen. Hwang is raising awareness and will join community volunteers in this Saturday’s Faith Food Pantry Food Drive/Collection to help those in Newtown and Sandy Hook who need it most.
Since the beginning of the health pandemic, residents have faced mounting challenges: health, employment, child care, and more. The need for support from the Newtown’s Faith Food Pantry has increased dramatically in the past six months due to Covid-19 pandemic, and now face the greatest demand they have seen in the 30 years they have graciously served the community.
The drive will take place at 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 10:00am to 2:00pm to provide as much support to the Newtown FAITH Food Pantry as possible.
Canned goods and financial donations will be accepted and every little bit of help will make a positive difference in people's lives.
