Greenwich Family Launches Addiction Recovery Non-Profit

Greenwich, CT - The Gwozdz Family of Greenwich, CT, has officially launched the Tyler G Foundation, an addiction recovery and education 501(c)(3) non-profit. The Foundation was created in honor of the late Tyler Gwozdz, who tragically passed away from an overdose in 2020.

“Today, on what would have been Tyler’s 31st birthday, we are officially launching the Tyler G Foundation in his memory. Tyler’s struggles with the disease of addiction are unfortunately becoming all too common in our hometown of Greenwich and across the country,” the Gwozdz family said.

“As the epidemic of this disease continues to spread, we recognize the need for increased education and support. We started this foundation not only to help others who are suffering from this disease, but also to honor the incredible impact that Tyler had on our lives and the countless people he inspired and changed along the way. It is our hope that this foundation can help, in any way, to lessen the impact of addiction for families like ours in the future.”

About the Tyler G Foundation: The Tyler G Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping those suffering from addiction by increasing local education initiatives, facilitating family resource programs and financing addiction recovery.
