Music in the Meetinghouse, Lenten Organ Recital Series
Fairfield, CT - Bryan Kirk returns to First Church Congregational, Fairfield, to play the last in the 2016 Lenten Organ Recital Series on Wednesday, March 16th at 12:15 pm, dedicating his program to the memory of Paul Knox.
Kirk was Organist at First Church from 1990--1996; he was Music Director and Organist at Golden Hill United Methodist Church from 1988--1990, then served First Congregational Church of Darien from 1996--2004, spending 15 years in this area. He was very active in the Greater Bridgeport AGO serving as Dean for five years and instrumental in forming the M. Louise Miller-Paul E. Knox Scholarship Award for young organists. Since 2005, Kirk has served as the Music Director and Organist of First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, New York.
